Do I need to be a reader to be a good writer?
What if I don’t have time to read?
What if I don’t even like reading fiction?
Will reading mess up my style and affect my ideas?
Can movies and shows be enough for learning about storytelling?

I’ve heard these questions and concerns from writers online, in my own life, and even from my own mouth. Do you need to read to be a writer?
Quick answer, no.
If you write you are a writer. Simple as that.
But what about being a good writer? Does reading affect your writing at all? Is it worth putting all this time into reading when you could be writing?

Today I am going to be covering all these topics. I am going to split this video into 3 different sections.
